Guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

APA Format, up to 1500-2000 words, Abstract In this assignment, I will be describing, discussing and using examples that will help with the explaining of the following guidelines that will be listed in my Textbook on the following pages 133-135, that physicians and other health care providers, practitioners can follow to maintain a safe working environment and favorable communications with patients. There are twelve guidelines to choose from, I will be only choosing ten out of the twelve. Here are the twelve guidelines that I will be choosing: Practice within the scope of your training and capabilities, Maintain confidentiality, Prepare and maintain health records, Use appropriate legal and ethical guidelines when releasing information, Follow established risk management and safety procedures, Follow legal guidelines and maintain awareness of health care legislation and regulations, Maintain and dispose of regulated substance in compliance with government guidelines, Meet the requirements for professional credentialing, Document accurately, Follow an employer’s established policies dealing with the health care contract. Then, I will be describe and discuss how each of these guidelines can help to prevent liability suits.
