This paper, like all assignments, must be a minimum of 500 words (about two pages), typed with size 12, Times New Roman font, double spaced with proper grammar and spelling. Please write your paper about the differences between the police response to a hostage situation where the scene is stable and the hostage taker is making demands and the police response to an active shooter event. You DO NOT need to include the definitions of the situations, but do include your understanding of the response to each and why it is done that way. You may include any ideas you have of how to make each situation response better.
