Write an abstract of your intended Critical Thinking Essay in no less than 250 and no more than 500 words. An abstract is a brief summary of your main claim(s) and the evidence you intend to use to support it. Because an abstract is so brief, it forces you to be clear about what you intend to prove and how you intend to prove it. This assignment does not need to be your final thought on the subject but must show where your research is headed in order for me to advise you. The first sentence of your abstract should identify your subject and the claim you intend to make about it. The body of your abstract should include paraphrases, brief summaries, and quotes (no more than two for this assignment) of the evidence you intend to use to support your main claim. The abstract must summarize how early Rome contributed to Western civilization in these three areas: Law Language: (Republic Rome use of Latin) Architecture: (Specifically the early use of concrete engineering, and aqueducts)
