Your organization has an administrative assistant opening position. This person will report to you, as the Office Manager. As a small software development company based in Seattle (on Lake Union) you are looking for someone that can take on additional challenges, besides greeting clients and answering phones. Please write a memo to human resources, with the following headings: 1. Where should HR recruit for this position? (such as company website, monster.com, etc.) What are the advantages and disadvantages of each possibility you list? 2. Should the organization consider both an internal and external posting? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? 3. Write a job description of at least 3 paragraphs (use of bullet points is ok).
