There are many important museums and sites in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area that present important aspects of African/African American experience. (For example, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Frederick Douglass House, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial etc.) Conduct some research on important museums and historical sites in the surrounding area then select one to visit during the semester. Type a two-page paper on what you have discovered and learned from the experience. This paper will be due during the last week of class. Note** The museum I have chosen is the the National Museum of African American History and Culture
