Your final paper topic should be clearly connected to your experience during your service learning project. Compare and contrast the ethical constraints place on judges and attorneys in the American court systems and the effect of those constraints. Analyze the structure, processes and power of the state courts. Identify and analyze contemporary issues pertaining to the courts and the criminal justice system. Law firm: Describe any strengths or weaknesses you observed in the organization. How well do you believe this firm fulfills its mission? What did you see as limitations to the fulfillment of the firm’s mission? How did your skills, education, and interests help the organization reach its goals? Education: How did your education at IRSC help you to contribute to the firm and your assigned tasks? What did you feel was lacking from your education to prepare you for this project? If you had to start working at this firm for a paycheck tomorrow, do you think you are prepared? What more could you do to prepare yourself?
