1400-1700 words not including reference citedpage, submitted into turnitin, Chicago style author date, Racism and White Privilege in Canada OR the United States As discussed in class, white privilege operates within a variety of spheres within Canadian and American society (eg. police/judicial system, educational system). Find TWO written anthropological or sociological peer reviewed journal articles about white privilege within the educational or judicial system in either Canada or the United States. YOUR sources MUST DATE TO 2009 or LATER. They must discuss how white privilege operates within North American educational or judicial/police systems. Remember that your journal articles have to be full journal articles (about 20 pages, on average), and NOT book reviews in a journal, or review articles (which are short and the title usually begins with “Review of…”). If you are unsure, then ask your TA. Read your sources. Using the material from the Peggy McIntosh reading I have provided and two sociological or anthropological peer reviewed journal articles to answer the following question: Discuss how white privilege operates within the contexts outlined by the author of your article e.g Peggy McIntosh
