1. Briefly describe the concept of Motivation and explain the motivation process. Describe a situation illustrating the idea that performance is a function of ability and working conditions as well as motivation. The process of initiating, guiding, and maintaining goal-oriented behaviors is known as motivation. These are the major aspects and theories that have a role in the motivating process. For example, inner wants (for example, food, friendship, and growth) and cognitions (knowledge and thoughts about the efforts we may need to make and the benefits we may receive) lead to a variety of behaviors, which are reinforced by how others react to us and the rewards we may receive. Motivation is thought to be a determinant of employment success. In other words, motivation, aptitudes, and skill were the determinants of employee job performance. Thus, motivated employees with high levels of job involvement are considered as important elements to an organization.
