You will complete the pre-assignment by analyzing the business model of an interesting and important media product, service or company. Basically, a business model documents and describes the revenues and costs of a company. In other words, every company has a business model (also e.g. public service media). You may present anything from books to digital platforms, and everything in between. You may choose to build your presentation on the following questions: 1) What is so special with this service? 2) Who are the most important customers? 3) What kind of customer needs are satisfied? 4) How are revenues generated? 5) What are the most important costs? 6) Why are you interested in this media product/service/company? 7) Why should your study mates know about it? The purpose of this assignment is to prepare a workshop on different business models in media. Therefore, you need not submit a written report on your analysis.
