In 5 pages, come up with your own gender specific program. Helpful hints: 1. Consider such things as personal problems, theory, mental health, violence, delinquency and/or victimization, and equality. 2. Who is the target audience of your program? Are you targeting a certain age group? Gender? Socioeconomic status? Race? Population (prison/jail, shelter, etc.)Why? Explain. 3. Why is your program going to be successful? What are some roadblocks you will face? 4. Explain your program as if I have no understanding of the problem. Anyone should be able to read your paper and understand what, how, and why you have chosen your specific program. 5. Make sure to explain how your program is gender-specific.
