Compare and contrast criminal justice system between Russia and USA

Focus on analyzing differences and similarities in the criminal justice system between tow countries, USA and Russia. Students will produce a research paper that demonstrates awareness of the nature of individual research within a scholarly context appropriate to genre and discipline. The research paper will critically evaluate the significant historical and contemporary theories of self and society as they relate to each student’s chosen topic. Included in this submission is a recognition and evaluation of the social construction of the individual, as reflected in texts, literary works, the arts, and / or contemporary media. The paper will present persuasive and creative reasoning in a justifiable, logical, and creative fashion that is within a scholarly context and presented and documented in a style that meets professional standards. There must be a research component to this paper or project, and the paper or project should contain at least fifteen to twenty pages of writing (exclusive of cover page and sources).
