You have been hired by Brooklyn College to examine the Facebook page and Twitter account of (a) Brooklyn College, (b) another senior or community college of CUNY of your choice, (c) Yale or Harvard and finally (d) NYU or Columbia. You are to compare what each of these four universities does on these platforms, how they do it, how effective they seem to be, what message are they giving, how often are there are posts from the university and participants, who’s posting in addition to the institution (students, faculty, alumni, administration, public relations, outsiders, etc.), what types of posts are they making (give examples), are responses being made to these posts, how many followers there are etc.
