Counter Intelligence Successful Prevention

Select a current or past event in which the use of intelligence was critical.You do not have to limit yourself to an event within the U.S., nor does the event have to be a national event. Write a 3-5 page paper following APA guidelines.

Your paper should summarize the event, outline the intelligence gathered and sources used to gather the information (i.e. were there open sources used?), types of intelligence gathering methods, and discuss the outcome (Was the analysis correct? Did it prevent the event? Did the intelligence community fail or succeed?).

Your paper should be no less than three (3) pages. Anything less than three (3) pages will be marked as incomplete (i.e. – “0”). All papers shall be submitted in APA format, using 12 Times New Roman font, and with one-inch margins. A title page, abstract page, and reference page are required in addition to the 3-5 pages of text/body of the paper.
