Consider this scenario: A new employee at your organization is Jewish and keeps a strictly kosher diet. In his home, he keeps his refrigerator separated so that meat and dairy are never on the same shelf. He has requested that the communal refrigerator in the break room be kosher, as well. After doing some research on kosher accommodations, should you honor his request? What recommendation, if any, would you make to the office manager to accommodate his religious belief and to avoid discrimination?
