Student groups are to compile a research portfolio on one of the following emerging market multinational enterprises from Asia, namely Alibaba, Haier, Samsung, Ta Ta, Bharti AirTel, Huawei, Pearl River Piano, Uniqlo and AmorePacific. The case study analysis is to focus on three of the following seven themes for your selected case company: l Culture l Corporate Governance l Human resource management l Corporate social responsibility l Production networks l Leadership l Technology After discussing the three themes for your selected company, you are expected to sum up by answering the following question: What have been the distinctive features of your selected company as a multinational enterprise originated from the business sytems of Asia The discussion on each theme/question should be two pages. Therefore, the expected length for the group portfolio is eight-page in total (Times New Roman, 12 point font and 1.5 line spacing). Students should use a range of sources in compiling their group portfolio including company websites, annual reports, media articles and scholarly publications and so on.
