Think critically about a property or service that helps to shape who you are (it extends your brain, automates your workflow, translates speech into text, saves photos as a digital memory, saves notes on the cloud). Then research the company and write about it. Address the following as you write, but don’t write in bullet point: • what biological function does the product/service perform? • who owns it? • how does it earn a profit? • how much is it worth? • how easily can this service become inoperable?what do you have to do to keep it running? • what would happen to you, physically, if it stopped working?
