Write 150 to 200 words on each of the following topics, or proceed to make this into a PowerPoint Presentation devoting several slides to each of the following sub-topics. If choosing the essay format, be sure to have a Title Page, brief Introduction and Conclusion and to cite any sources used. If choosing the PP presentation format, devote several slides to each sub-topic, frame the presentation with an Introduction and Conclusion slide, include sources used, and use illustrations and bullet points on the slides, with more detailed content in your Speaker Notes. If you have never created a PowerPoint presentation, this may be an opportunity for you to learn a new skill, and a member of your Learning Team might help you. There are resources for this in the UOP Library as well. Enjoy and try to be creative with this. Identify a time in which you experienced a hindrance in critical thinking. Describe a method you could use to overcome the hindrances. Identify a message in advertising. Describe how you perceive the message of the advertisement. Try to determine the reality of the advertisement. Distinguish between your perception and the reality of the message.
