Develop an original recruitment process that would enable a public agency to recruit the best candidate for a public sector job

Many of the jobs within the public sector are unique: police officers, fire fighters, teachers, public policy analysts, social workers, etc. Therefore, recruiting and selecting individuals to work in the public sector may be more challenging than in the private sector. In a four- to five-page paper (excluding the title and reference pages) complete the following: •Summarize the general set of knowledge and skills that candidates in the public sector should possess (for instance, knowledge of the political process). •Develop an original recruitment process that would enable a public agency to recruit the best candidate for a public sector job. ◦As an example, the process may begin with a detailed job description (not necessarily common in the public sector) followed by specific websites that attract public sector employees. •Use APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. Remember to include an introduction with a thesis statement, use transitional words, use a minimum of four sentences in a paragraph, and include a conclusion. •Use two scholarly sources in addition to the text for this assignment.
