Discuss Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, by Harriet Jacobs, by applying one of the concepts found in the essays we have read for this course. Choose one to two scenes from the novel for your discussion. For example, you could discuss the precept of inferiority, as Higgenbotham defines it, and how you see it playing out in one to two scenes in the novel. You could discuss issues of sexuality and identity, as Pawielski and Giddings do, using new scenes in which you think this issue is important. Do not discuss the same scenes as Pawielski does.
