Sociologists ask many questions regarding social class, stratification and poverty. For this week’s discussion I would like students to ask questions that they find interesting as it relates to poverty. In doing this, students should find examples of the tangible effects of poverty. Provide academic journal articles, news articles or discuss organizations dedicated to ending poverty. In your post you must provide statistics that link poverty to another social problem in society.
