Discussion: Introductions and Leadership Strategies

Before taking part in the discussion, view the following videos:

For many students, these videos will be a review of various approaches to leadership. The videos will provide a context for analyzing the case study.

Specifically, consider the following two questions:

1.  How did having a strong “why” drive needed changes at Nike?

2.  How did authenticity and vulnerability play out at Nike, allowing needed change to occur?

After you are familiar with the studies and have considered both questions, you will be ready to write your first discussion response. Write a detailed response, citing specific examples for each answer.
