Transformational leaders tend to have nine qualities that particularly help enable them to bring about transformations in their organizations. The nine qualities are as follows: they are charismatic; tend to have higher emotional intelligence; they create a vision; they encourage the personal development of their staff; they give supportive leadership; they practice empowerment; they think innovatively; they lead by example; and they have a higher level of moral reasoning.
