Susie is a sales person that sells educational multimedia products. When she reaches $1,000,000 in sales she will receive a $10,000 bonus. Susie wants to use the bonus as a down payment on her dream home. Nearing the end of the accounting period, she is $1,000 short of her goal. An inner city school, where the students currently have to share textbooks, would like to be able to purchase the products, but does not have any additional funds. Susie is contemplating giving the school $1,000 to purchase the products from her, so she can reach her sales goals and get her $10,000 bonus.
