Students will utilize the textbook plus a minimum of two other references to examine the key personnel involved in facilitating the Systems Development Life Cycle. This paper will require students to consider the impact and contributions of the Project Manager, Systems Analyst, Upper Management, Internal/External software developers, and end-users in determining either the success or failure of an information systems project. This research paper must be no less than 4 pages and no more than 8 pages. It should be double spaced, font size of 12, Times New Roman font. The cover sheet and Works Cited page are not included in the page count. Submitted papers will be compared with a database of other student papers to ensure that content is the original creation of the student unless cited in the “Works Cited” page. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in a grade of zero for the paper along with further discipline as dictated by the University’s Academic Appeal and Academic Misconduct Procedure as stated in the Student Handbook and the Schedule of Classes. Research Paper #1 must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on February 25th. This research paper represents 20% of the semester grade. If the paper is not submitted when required, a grade of zero will be given unless the student is able to provide documentation to justify the late submission.
