After reading this week’s assigned chapters, (Chapter 10 of The British Empire / Chapters 10-11 of British Imperialism) explain the emergence of nationalist movements in the British Empire. Was resistance in the nineteenth century nationalistic? Why or why not? How did World War I bring change to the empire in the interwar years?
