Please summarize federal laws that govern human resources management (name and short description). Please refer to the chapter 5 ppt. 2. The EEOC website (www.eeoc.gov) provides a tremendous amount of information about the commission and the types of cases that are being filed; see in particular the material under “Statistics” and “Litigation.” Please review these current complaints and the processes followed for addressing these claims, along with various EEOC press releases. Afterward, please write a paper (2 pages in length) that responds to the following: 1) Over the past decade, what types of cases have come before the EEOC? What might account for these trends? 2) What appear to be the commission’s current priorities? Do you think these priorities are appropriate for U.S. society? 3. Please discuss recent changes in labor and employment laws and significant court decisions (this question will be counted toward your current event report.
