Field Project: Nurse Educator Interview
4-5 pages assignment c- Project Purpose The purpose of this project is for you to better understand what the instructional design and development process entails. Deliverable The field project is submitted during a brief paper (4-5 content pages spaced at 1.5; plus a title page, a table of contents page, and a references page if you have in-text citations). When appropriate, you MUST use APA 6.0 guidelines for any use of in-text citations and for formatting the reference page items. Please complete of the following to fulfill the field project if you are an MSN degree (nursing) candidate: Interview a Education in your discipline ( my is operating room). For example, the interviewee could be a nursing educator in a hospital setting. Determine the process used by that person when planning or developing training and/or educational opportunities for medical staff. How is the training implemented? Have they considered the use of computer-assisted instructional modules, distance education, or web-based training? What types of pedagogies do they use most frequently? Also, focus on if and how they conduct needs assessments and determine course content. Include what the person’s specific job duties entail, what educational requirements are needed for the job, what he or she sees as advantages and disadvantages of the position. Outcome: Prepare a 4-5 page summary of your interview (excluding title page, table of contents, and reference page if used).
