  1. With reference to your adopted company, your current company, your previous company, analyze your managers’ (the managers’) efficiency and effectiveness in delivering the 10 management roles proposed by Henry Mintzberg on a scale of 10 points, where 1 equals to least and 10 is the highest.

Steps in doing

? Give a brief about the company and its nature of job and employees (such as Manufacturing Company, Telecom Company, Hospitality, hospitals etc.)

? Explain briefly Henry Mintzbergs’ management roles.

? Make a small schedule for the ten roles – 1 to 10 for each role

? Assess the manager on these roles

? Calculate the average of the assessment

? Give examples for some of his roles if possible

? If possible ask the managers’ subordinates (a kind of small survey)

? Write suggestions for the manager

? Write a conclusion for the study
