Response Prompt: University life is a time to develop your intellectual virtue. Reflect on one way that you felt you have developed your intellectual virtue in college, and recount a time where you missed an opportunity to develop intellectual virtue. How could you be more productive in taking advantage of the opportunity that you have as a university student to develop the intellect? How does developing your intellectual virtue in college contribute to your greater well-being, if at all?
The grade will be based on clarity of writing and mastery of concepts. A good journal entry can be anywhere from half a page to two pages. What matters is not length but depth of engagement with the material and clarity of expression.
