How does Zachman Framework fit into the analyst’s tool kit?  Where did it come from?

How does Zachman Framework fit into the analyst’s tool kit?  Where did it come from?   Where in the organization is it likely to be found?   I want to find answers to these questions in the discussion forum, and since I won’t be answering the questions, you will have to as a class.   Do not feel the need to answer all of them, pick and choose, or wait for someone else to answer and comment on their response.  I will weigh in from time to time to keep things on track and make sure you come up with the answers I want you to.
