If you were in a similar position as Grady, what would you argue were the most significant changes to the U.S. economy between 1865 and 1915? You might consider these changes in relationship to region (North, South, or West) and from a number of perspectives (big business, workers, African Americans, women, and immigrants) to show how they were shaped within the new American landscape.
