This assignment will explore the impact of corporate decisions on a local versus a global perspective. Choose one area from the list below, and describe, with examples of actual companies, how their decisions impact their local community as well as the wider global situation. Possible areas of thought are Environment, Finance, Employment, Infrastructure, Taxation.

As an example, you could look at how Corporation X treats environmental matters in its home country versus other countries where it does business. Are they consistent between countries? Do they vary widely in how they operate – polluting in one, while speaking about conservation in another?
