In this assessment, you have to show that you can recognise and respond appropriately to crisis situations and to those in domestic and family violence situations.
This assessment is split into four parts – Part A, Part B, Part C and Part D.
Part A consists of short answer questions about identifying and responding to signs of crisis and addressing immediate safety concerns, using a client scenario provided (within stated word count + or – 10%).
Part B consists of short answer questions describing how you would adopt work specific practices that support those affected by domestic and family violence and how you would identify and respond to client needs, using the client scenario provided (within stated word count + or – 10%).
Part C consists of identifying appropriate professionals in your area to refer the client from the scenario to, and constructing one email to the client in the scenario providing information about available services for meeting their needs (within stated word count + or – 10%).
Part D consists of short answer questions about self-care actions and activities associated with crisis support (within stated word count + or – 10%).
