The purpose of this paper is to help you learn to connect actions/decisions, choices, and consequences in decision-making within a relevant historical context. The research paper should have at least three main parts. 1. A section where you provide historical context for the topic. 2. A section where you analyzes a controversial decision made by a relevant historical figure or institution, including all options available to said figure/institution and the various factors that contributed to the outcome of the historical scenario. 3. A section where you explain the historical significance of the decision that was made. The paper should be 1000-1250 words in length with 1”margins, Times New Roman in 12pt font, a cover page, and an annotated bibliography. The paper must be cited using Turabian or Chicago Manuel of Style and utilize footnotes. A minimum of three primary sources and one secondary source is required.
