Assignment One. Following completion of this assignment the student will: Identify key differences when assessing the older adult Identify ways in which documentation and communication can impact caring for the older adult Discuss the use of evidence-based tools when caring for the older adult Write a minimum of a 3 page APA style paper (1) identifying the key differences that impact an older adult assessment. Describe how these differences can impact the care of the older adult client. (2) Explain how the assessment of the older adult client needs modification to be able to care for and communicate with the older adult client. (3) Identify the use of evidence-based tools for assessing the older adult and how the incorporation of these tools into the practice setting will allow for an accurate assessment. This assignment is a minimum of 3 typed pages following APA (not including the title page and reference page). The reference list for this assignment should include a minimum of three references supporting the discussion throughout the paper. Citations should be included in the body of the paper to support discussion as well.
