Lay out the arguments for and against trade treaties like NAFTA, and/or for the process of”globalization” of the U.S. economy. What do you think? Paterson, which now has lost most of its manufacturing facilities, is depicted as a severely depressed city. As globalization proceeds apace,what can/should be done for cities like this, and for their inhabitants (likeMollie)? Anything? What alternative should be pursued, and why?
