Life-Long Learning Personal and Professional Plan
Based on the Learing Activities completed in the LP10.1, LP10.2, and LP10.3 Practice Assessments, create a Life-Long Learning Personal and Professional Plan that will advance your career success. Map your future career goals by detailing the following: • skills you will learn on your own over the next 12 months to advance your career and financial success • how you will use the Tuition Assistance Program currently offered by your employer, if available. Include any research you obtained from Learning Goal #3: Employee Benefits and Learning Goal #4: Company Tuition Assistance. If you are NOT covered under an employer’s Tuition Assistance Program, provide your thoughts or research on a few free or low-cost learning opportunities you can take advantage of. • workshops, trade shows, industry conferences or professional speaker events that you are considering attending in the next 6 months to advance your career and financial success • Summarize with a reflection of a few paragraphs (12 – 15 sentences). You should try to answer some of these questions in your reflection: What things would I like to learn that could make my personal life better? What things would I like to learn that could make my career and professional life better? How can I use learning to help me develop math skills? How can I use learning to increase my business skills? How can I use learning to increase my financial skills? How much money would I like to have when I retire and what should I learn to achieve that goal? Is there someone who can mentor me and guide me in my pursuit of career success?
