Locate a river that you find interesting using Google Earth™ . (Hint: In the “My Places” section on the

left, you can double click on a name to zoom to the location.)

Properly identify the name of the river in your discussion and answer the following questions (Be sure to explain each item in your discussion):

– What stream order is the river?
– Is the river a perennial or intermittent stream?
– What type of stream drainage pattern does the river fall under?
– How does the river contribute to a theory of landform development (include the name of the theory)?

Note that you may not be able to answer some of these questions directly from the Google Earth™, and you may need to explore the area to see other streams in the area. Also, you may need to use outside resources to fully answer the questions (Be sure to cite your resources!)
