How do you currently lead? In the past work, I served as the banquet management manager. In addition to leading the team to achieve the banquet sales target, I also needed to know how to properly lead a team and keep learning and improving my ability in my career development plan. From work practice and project management class, I know the difference between a manager and a leader. A successful business owner needs both a strong leader and a manager, and such a staff structure enables their team to move towards their vision of success. Leader is about getting people to understand and believe in the vision and work with leader to achieve their goals, while a manager is more about managing and making sure everyday things happen the way they should. 2 What are the core principles that underlie your approach to leadership? 3 In light of the ideas presented in this paper, how will you lead in the future? 4 What kind leader do you want to be? 5 What do you want to make sure you keep doing? 6 What do you want to stop doing? 7 What do you want to start doing? 8 In your current or previous work setting, what specific changes will you make in how you lead and/or manage? 9 Do you see yourself as more of a leader or more of a manager, or both, or neither? You need to: • Apply at least six concepts from relevant sources that shape how you will practice leadership now and in the future. However, your essay must represent a coherent whole rather than a listing of various attributes that describe your approach.
