In reality, it is impossible to discuss every topics or themes in the literature review for which you need focus on narrow topic like religion, marriage, left-behind children, etc. You can choose one of them to do an in-depth literature review but make sure you can find enough published literature to be reviewed related to the topic that you have chosen.
