Minority Adolescents: Adolescents involved in the justice system

Write a 6–8 page paper incorporating at least 6 references on developmental issues of one of the two minority populations supplied to you. Your goal is to explain, with help from the literature, how each of the five recurring themes presented in this course (Trust, Attachment, Transitions, Resilience, Trauma ) impact your chosen adolescent minority. This paper should reflect both cultural (family and community) and societal issues that impact your adolescent choice Your paper should: 1.Discuss the impact of significant personality and emotional factors on your chosen minority. This should include the development of emotions and the understanding and expression of feelings and expectations during adolescent development. 2.Discuss the cognitive development of the adolescent and the role that their minority status might play in their development. 3.Look at the issue of culture and relationship development for your chosen adolescent. 4.Discuss the impact of community organizations, neighborhoods, society, family, and home on your chosen adolescent.
