If you write a term paper, it should be no longer than 7 pages, double-spaced, in 12pt font. It should be typed out, written in clear sentences and effective paragraphs, with a minimum of grammatical and other errors of expression. It should present a coherent, detailed and effective argument for how to interpret and analyze a specific topic. It should also have a title and title page, and a works cited (citation style of your choice, depending on your disciplinary focus).
