Negotiation Case Analysis No. 1. This will be a case from my past . I need to identify a case that represents a negotiation challenge from personal work environment. I must be one of the parties, a facilitator of negotiations by others, or have direct and deep knowledge of the case as perceived by others. 1. Topic of negotiation and why it is important include attention to my role 2. Analysis of case using categories from the Conflict Grid or comparable tool. 3. Description of negotiation process/strategy used in light of steps or phases of negotiation. 4. Agreement reached. 5. Summary critique of your negotiation behavior, including strengths, weaknesses and lessons for the future.
