Organized Crime Field Research Paper

This assignment requires students to go out in the field and “think” like a member of an organized crime group. This could be your place of work, school, shopping mall, or some other setting. – i havent chosen one so you are free to choose what may be easiest – First, students will then need to write ½ to a full page describing the location and the services they offer. Second, students will be required to write 1-2 full pages describing how a person involved in organized crime could take advantage of the place and/or services offered there for financial gain or political gain. Third, students are required to write 1-2 full pages describing how law enforcement could combat organized crime at this specific place and specific ways in which they could do that. Please be sure to use specific and cited examples of ways that law enforcement has attempted to control organized crime groups using similar tactics. Successfully completing this project will require some imagination, so it is completely fine to think outside of the box. The total required assignment length is a minimum of five full pages and a maximum of seven full pages. All citations for the law enforcement section should be in APA format. This assignment is worth a total of 100 pointsof your final grade.
