Prisons and jails are separate entities with different missions. However, they do work together in the care and upkeep of inmates. It is often that inmates move from one facility to another. This is especially true in regard to mental health care. You have learned that servicing the jail and prison populations offer different approaches and said approaches must work together. In this assignment, you will take on the role of a jail or prison administrator. You will come up with a plan to provide mental health, education, or substance abuse services for inmates entering the facility. I will assign the facility type to you along with the specific challenges that need to be addressed. You will present this information in a written plan and presentation. You will be graded on both.
