Develop a 3-page report comparing what public mental health services exist within the county where you live with any private mental health services in your county INFORMATION: Mental health is a major issue for Americans. With 30% of the country’s population experiencing some form of active disorder during any given year, mental health is significant. This module looks at how mental health is defined, what is the overall history of the field and what segments of the population are most vulnerable. Issues such as enabling characteristics and how mental health has evolved prior and after the 1950s and 1960s. The final topics of the module deal with mental health policy, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the key trends of the field today.
