This week, you will create a rough draft outline of your resume by using the services found in CareerNetwork at the Career Center that you registered for in the Unit 3. For your Journal entry, either post a rough draft outline of your resume, or share reflections about your resume writing experience, including any questions you have about creating a resume and any helpful information you got from the Career Center.

Your entry should be between 150-200 words.

This week, you should use the rough draft of your resume from Unit 4 to create a finished resume.

Create a Journal entry about your experience, making sure that you include answer to the following in your post:

  • What did you learn from this exercise?
  • What are some of your strengths and also areas of improvement for the future?

Remember: this may be your first resume and you may be limited professional experiences; that is completely understandable. Include any volunteer or internship experiences, as well as any paid employment where some of the skills may be transferable to human services. If you do not yet have any human services professional experience (paid or unpaid) this might be an ideal time to explore a future internship or volunteer experience.

Your entry should be between 150-200 words.
