Reflection is an essential practice of an effective educator. Reflection should be intentional, often, and thought about with the intent to improve your practice. Take a few moments before engaging in this last forum and think back to your entire course learning…

  • What assignment was most engaging? Why?
  • At what moment in this course were you most distant from the class? Why?
  • Were you confused about any assignment or learning activity?
  • What will you remember most in this course?
  • Evaluate your work this course. What assignments and/or activities did you excel in? What could you have improved on?

Guided Response: Respond to at least two classmates’ postings. Ask your peers probing questions to determine why they enjoyed the assignments they listed and more importantly how they will apply what they have learned to their future classroom. In addition, share comments about the assignment that you know will best transfer to your classroom situation.
