Review the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Master’s Essential V: Informatics and Healthcare Technologies shown in the textbook page 15 or the resource in Assignment 1 folder in the Weekly Guide 3. Complete Parts 1 to 6 on the Assessing Informatics Competencies Form found the Weekly Guide/Week 2. 4. For Part 6 on the form, Goals for Achieving Nursing Informatics Competencies, generate a table and a written analysis. a. On the form, create a table using Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel with the following five column headings: Prioritized five (5) Nursing Informatics Goals, Specific Plan of Action, Timeframe for Plan of Action, Relationship of the Goal/Plan to QSEN Graduate Level Informatics KSAs, and Relationship to the AACN Master’s Essential V: Informatics and Healthcare Technologies. Use “wrap word text” so that text fits the column width or cell size. i. Your five prioritized goals will relate to gaining greater competency in nursing informatics skills, knowledge, or attitude based on Parts 1 to 5 of the form ii.
