The critical assignment in this course is a presentation on Medicare, Medicaid, or the Affordable Care Act. Each of your supportive submissions (1-3) will assist in keeping you on track towards submitting a quality critical assignment. Therefore, I highly suggest looking ahead to the critical assignment requirements, and including them into your supportive submissions, whenever pertinent. When applicable, I will offer feedback on the supportive submissions that should be incorporated into your critical assignment. Supportive Submission #1 requires you to research, choose, and identify the health care agency for your report (Medicare, Medicaid, or ACA). Give a summary of the health care agency of your choice, including its history and how the agency currently interacts with the U.S. health care system. Identify major public health challenges facing U.S. healthcare delivery systems and your chosen agency. Identify the inter-relationship between the health care delivery system and the public health system. All written submissions should reflect professionalism in grammar, spelling, writing style/format (one-inch margins, double spaced, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font), include APA 6th citations when appropriate, an appropriate title page, and be uploaded as .doc or .docx documents.
